Debi & Gabriele's Ribollita Soup

Just when you thought you couldn't adore Debi & Gabriele any more: she uses dried beans to impress their guests; he lets you know he normally just opens a couple cans. Phew.
Pull that stale stuff outta the back of your bread box and make soup! (Or that gluten free loaf you bought that's harder than steel).
The sincerest thank you to Zero Point Zero & Cooking Channel for this lovely piece of vegan food television.

Quaker's Crispy Minis

Crispy Minis Rice Crackers // Quaker

This was a quick vegan fix to a buncha Chicago Mix popcorn porn I stumbled across on the internets.

Both of these flavors are accidentally vegan: The slightly spicy, powdery Sweet Chili together with the crunchy, smoothly glazed Caramel Kettle Corn make a beautiful sweet & savory treat for your mouth.

Candace's Roman Candy

Huh! Roman Taffy. It's an Italian style Salt Water Taffy. (Is Food Network not the best teacher?)
Ron Kotteman's 100-year-old recipe is not only vegan, but also Candace Nelson's favorite dessert in New Orleans! How badly do you want a mouthful of that stuff right now? So very badly.

A sincere thank you to dessert master Candace Nelson (of Sprinkles Cupcakes in LA) and to Scripps for bringing us this sophisticated sugar-lesson.

Ina's Guacamole

This video is pure avocado porn, so hold your hats.

If you're gonna learn how to make guacamole from anybody: Ina Garten. She's got an original technique to keep her guacamole perfectly chunky. But be warned, there's very little facetime with Ina, sadly... you'll have to stare at her adorable hands a lot.

A sincere thank you to Food Network, Scripps & Ina Garten for bringing a lil vegan sunshine into our lives.

D'Italiano's Caramel Bagels

Caramel Bagels // D'Italiano Bagelli

This is why you just keep on standin in the grocery store readin ingredients, cause you never know. These new Caramello Bagels are dairy and egg free! Now devour.

Not to be a jerk, but just looking at the bag makes me think "It's the thought that counts"... really hard to taste the caramel flavor in 'em. (Maybe I've been spoiled by Club House http://flic.kr/p/pxSttP)

But again, just appreciative these even exist.

Martha & Jim's Carrot Bread

Don't you love cooking segments out of context? The haunting gothic music playing at the beginning! Love.

Learn how easy it is to make fancy Artisanal bread (apparently you can mix very aggressively) and if Martha tearing open a fresh loaf doesn't make you want to get your hands full of bread too, nothing will!

A sincere thank you to Martha Stewart for sharing Master Baker Jim Lahey on her show. Pure food tv joy.
