This makes stuff taste meaty. Smoky, robust, thick, deep and delicious flavor for the plant foods you love. I've seen these selling for 99 cents at American Walmarts, and 4.99 at a fancy Canadian food store. Just sayin.
The best of accidentally vegan television cookery & foodstuff. Lots of foodstuffs.

Alton's Black Beans
Ok, it's easier than beans(!) to just open a can than to boil them yourself. But did we know they can be flavored as they boil, just like a stock? Will we reconsider? Also, love that this may contain one of the first sightings of the Alton Brown Twitter post-it doodle (1:32).
So much love and appreciation to Scripps & Mr. Brown for the perfection that is Good Eats!

Anne's Tomato Soup
Finally, hear Anne Burrell's gorgeous singing voice. Around the 2:50 mark. Also, could anyone's genuine reaction to tasting a foodstuff be any more lovely? It's no wonder she has a tv show. Thanks so very much to Food Network and Anne Burrell for cooking up something simple, beautiful and accidentally vegan.

Mario's Fettunta
I love when audiences burst into ooohs and ahhhhs for the most random thing - here it's literally for the sound of crusty, crunchy bread being sliced! Love. It.
Fettunta means "Greased Slice" - how can you not love Mario Batali?
I can't thank ABC & The Chew enough for consistently pumping out heart-healthy veg options. Thank you!
