Giada's Doughnuts

...I have no words. If you have words please leave a comment below.

Ok I do have these: EASY. VEGAN. DOUGHNUTS and HOLES aka TIM BITS (hello, Canada, hello).

Her ganache uses cream? Easiest veganization ever. Use any non-dairy milk. Lemme help you pick one.

And then make Mattie's 2-ingredient recipe for ganache, cause his work is flawless.

The most sincere THANK YOU to the food-tv culinary goddess that is Giada De Laurentiis, her team and Food Network & Scripps for bringing us all the goodness.

Alton's Potato Chips

If you're gonna learn how to cook ANY foodstuff; Alton Brown.
And if you already know potato chips; Alton Brown. Cause there's a genius-deliciousness surprise at the very end.
Sincerest thank you to Scripps, Alton Brown & his crew for the food tv perfection that is Good Eats.

Rachael's Eggplant Schnitzel

Vegan cooking will make you realize how many of the tastes & flavors you've loved actually come from everything but the meat. I once had a slice of tofu prepared like schnitzel and it even had the same mouthfeel as the veal schnitzel I'd had as a kid.

Can we talk about how eggplant is underrated!? It can be thick and creamy, or chewy and meaty, or thin and crisp. It's endless.

The most sincere thank you to Rachael Ray, Scripps & her incredibly clever team for some of the most creative and healthy recipes in food television.

Cinnamon Twist, a photo by stitchohana on Flickr.

This is the stuff of vegan legend and lore that is thankfully true. Taco Bell's Cinnamon Twists are vegan friendly. No egg, no dairy in their crispy cinnamony parts. Vegan dessert at a fast food chain. Dreams do come true!

Martha's Rigatoni

What's more fun than a clip taken completely out of context?
-Martha says this beautiful, elegant eggplant dish is perfect for Super Bowl Sunday.
-An abundance of twins.
-Guest chefs, the Carro brothers, randomly wearing name tags.
Etc.
A lifetime of thanks to Martha Stewart for always bringing accidentally vegan delights!

Mario's Chickpea Fries

Mario Batali: "the most crazy thing I'd ever tasted" - What is this thing? Seriously. It's like a falafel meets a french fry while smuggling a zucchini in its pocket.
Thanks so much to ABC & The Chew for the absolute lovely pleasure of these fun demos.

Guy's Plantains

I've never seen this technique for frying before! Guy: "put a little squish on it."
p.s. Does it bother anyone else that he cuts the top tip off of the plantain? Bottom, of course. But top tip? No? Just me? Ok.

Guy's Fries

Next time I'm in Asia I'm hitting the streets immediately and looking for these.

p.s There is something meta about a television not only in the background of a cooking show, but the fact that it is left ON and nobody's watching it. Leave it to Guy Fieri to not only tickle our bellies but also share some sort of existential experience.

And learn how to make a Jerk Marinade while you're at it.

Alton's Peas

When Alton Brown says this may be the most unexpected food delight he's had in the LAST DECADE - you certainly listen.
