Guy's Quinoa

How much do you love a Guy Fieri clip? SO MUCH.

Get ready for the most descriptive yet still entirely vague instruction on how to cook quinoa, and then confession-cam-style backpedalling whether the vinaigrette is technically really a vinaigrette. LOVE. Seriously, Guy Fieri can literally do anything or almost nothing and it's still some of the most captivating food television out there...

The most heartfelt thank you to the talent behind Guy's Big Bite, The Food Network & Scripps for sharing it all with us.

Guy's Hummus

Guy Fieri had a glorious vegetarian childhood.
And here you get to actually see him make hummus for his sister Morgan and his mom Penelope. Put this clip in your heart and that hummus in your dip bowls. Bonus: it's tahini-free.
Thank you so very much to Guy Fieri, Scripps & Food Network for the food tv perfection that is this.

Guy's Ciabatta Veg Sandwich

Sincerest THANK U to Factory Gastrobar's Natalie Gutenkauf for making one of the best vegetarian sandwiches Guy Fieri has ever had AND it isn't covered in cheese and mayo. Because grill marks, fresh bread, herbs, crunch and creamy bean purée deliciousness is what Flavortown's about.
And thank you to Food Network, Scripps & Guy Fieri's glorious Citizen Pictures team for bringing the perfection that is Triple D.

Guy's Watermelon Taco

Put Guy Fieri in the Good Housekeeping test kitchen and you'll get both an accidentally vegan taco AND his way to get kids to eat new fruits and veg.
As if you didn't love him enough already.
A huge thank you to Good Housekeeping, Hearst & Rosemary Ellis for this joy!

Guy's Plantains

I've never seen this technique for frying before! Guy: "put a little squish on it."
p.s. Does it bother anyone else that he cuts the top tip off of the plantain? Bottom, of course. But top tip? No? Just me? Ok.

Guy's Beet Sliders

Guy Fieri is right - Jerad Nuttall is a genius when it comes to his snappy little grilled beets.
Here's my beef (see what I did there?) with the way people prepare beets in general. Why take the skin off? It's messy and there a ton of vitamins hanging out in there. Eat it. It's good for you. Isn't the skin on a potato the best part? YES.

Guy's Fries

Next time I'm in Asia I'm hitting the streets immediately and looking for these.

p.s There is something meta about a television not only in the background of a cooking show, but the fact that it is left ON and nobody's watching it. Leave it to Guy Fieri to not only tickle our bellies but also share some sort of existential experience.

Guy's Focaccia

This might be the least emphatic car door slam in Triple D history - You'll love it.
Did you know that the dimples in focaccia come from someone poking it? And see how an Air Italia blanket gets involved when Guy visits Rigoletto for an accidentally vegan eat!

Guy's Macrobiotic Childhood

There are TOO many things to love about Guy Fieri's visit to The Chew, where he joined Mario Batali and Michael Symon in making vegan sandwich toppings (!)
A couple highlights:
1. Fieri talks about his upbringing with macrobiotic parents.
2. Mario Batali dances from the get go.
3. Fieri, of all people, tries to keep the segment on track (more than once).
4. Fancy sandwich toppings include Batali's peperonata & Symon's sauerkraut.
5. We find out what Guy Fieri & Melissa McCarthy in Bridesmaids have in common.
6. They do the Three Amigos salute. I am not kidding.

Guy Fieri's Jerk 'n Festival

Guy Fieri - he'll take a bite out of a pineapple, skin ON.
'nuff said.
...Did you know there is a fried dough called FESTIVAL!?
And learn how to make a Jerk Marinade while you're at it.

Guy's Rye

Guy loves the fresh rye at Ingrid's in Oklahoma City. LOVES.
And how adorable is that old metal filing cabinet?
And that baker?
Plenty.

Guy. Loves. Tofu.

Gaven McMillian was brave enough to make TWO tofu dishes on DDD. (One of which is "too gorgeous to eat in the kitchen") !
But why I really love this chef is how casually he says "some snaps" when referring to sugar snap peas... Simple as that.

Fieri's Granola Love

Ever thought you'd hear Guy Fieri say "fiber" or "organic"? Or that one of his favorite foods growing up was his Mom's GRANOLA? This man is full of vegan surprises!

Guy's Red Sauce

Guy says Chino Bandido is "one of the neatest places we've ever shot" & goes bananas over Eve's recipe, but she won't reveal one secret ingredient. (And in doing so, reminds me of a Disney princess? Is it Jasmine? I'm not high. It's at the 0:52 mark)

Guy @ Dottie's

3 kinds of garlic in your chili? Sign a Guy up.

BEST is chef's reaction to Guy saying "put that in a cone!"

p.s. That lady at the end - totally Anna Gunn right? Ya! No? K.

Guy's Dhal Puri

I love these two together.
Is it just me, or does the bun-thing look like it would be incredibly delicious baked round, before being rolled flat? Just me? Ok.

Guy Fieri Salsa

Vegans can now enjoy a taste of Guy Fieri !
And yes, I will totally keep this jar forever.
