Kathie & Hoda's Black Forest Cake
How about a 4-ingredient CAKE that's dairy free, egg free and fat free, using only ONE pan?
Behold Cathy Mitchell, cookbook author of Dump Cakes, to make it happen for us.
Use any flavor soda, any flavor cake mix she says. Oh, I will. The dessert possibilities are endless. (A ton of prepared cake box mixes are accidentally vegan, just read through those ingredients!)
How much does Cathy's laugh make you miss her better half from those grill infomercials? That dude with glasses? Love him.
A hugely sincere thank you to Today for the glorious hour that is Kathie Lee & Hoda - and the glorious cooking segments they bring!
p.s. Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 30 to 40 minutes or until cake is set. Cool 15 minutes.

Ritter Sport's Marzipan Chocolate

Y'know at the beginning of Thelma & Louise, they're on the phone and Thelma is eating a chocolate bar? And she keeps taking a bite and putting it away in the freezer. Then opening up the freezer again and taking another bite, over and over?
That.
With this.
And it is a gorgeous thing in your mouth; room temperature, cold, or frozen.
Have at it.
It's vegan.

Krakus Chocolate Gingerbread
When anything remotely cake-like is accidentally vegan, I kind of lose my $#&!
I'll never stop reading the ingredients on random European imported cookies. Ever. Keeps us young, right?

Bulk Barn's Custard
The biggest news ever? Sure. Or, at least the reason why I always read ingredients, and hold out hope, cause just in case, who knows?
This CUSTARD FILLING is from a bin at a regular bulk food store. Yes. You read that right. There's accidentally vegan custard at Bulk Barn. In a BIN.
